Atacama Chile Sunrise Tours strives to offer a quality service with transparency. Get to know our booking, cancellation, and privacy policies to ensure a safe and satisfactory experience with our services.
Modifications and Cancellations:
Cancellations between 48-24 hours in advance: 80% refund of the payment.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice: Not accepted, except with a medical certificate. See cancellation due to medical issues.
Cancellations due to weather conditions: If the tour has to be canceled due to weather conditions before the start of the tour, a 100% refund will be issued based on the tour price.
If the tour is in progress and needs to be canceled due to weather events or any other inconvenience that occurs during the excursion, a proportional refund will be provided for what was done until the time of cancellation. These exceptional cases will be analyzed directly with the executive to ensure fair and appropriate compensation.
Pick-up Policy:
For shared tours, the agency assigns a specific pick-up time from the hotel, which is confirmed at the time of booking and via WhatsApp groups where passengers will be in contact with their respective guides. Passengers must be present in the hotel lobby during this time. If the passenger is not at the designated location and time (NO SHOW), no refund will be given.
Pick-ups for each tour are directly organized with passengers via WhatsApp. It is the passenger’s responsibility to join these groups when the access links are sent.
Cancellation due to Medical Issues:
Less than 24 hours: If the passenger presents a medical certificate issued by the Cesfam of San Pedro de Atacama or any valid medical center within less than 24 hours before the tour, 80% of the value will be refunded.
Up to 24 hours before the tour: If the medical certificate is presented within this time frame, 100% of the value will be refunded.
Transportation Policies:
Shared Tours: The transportation services are limited to the urban area of San Pedro de Atacama. Pick-ups are not made at accommodations outside this radius or those difficult to access. It is always recommended to consult with the executive to confirm whether your accommodation is within the service coverage area for the tours. This ensures proper planning and avoids inconvenience.
Pick-ups for the tours are made at the hotel, and the return is made at a central point in the historic center of San Pedro de Atacama.
Tour Conditions:
All tours are conducted by certified guides and specialized drivers to ensure safety and service quality.
Safety Policies:
The mandatory use of seat belts is required in all vehicles provided by the agency.
Passengers must follow all instructions from guides and drivers during the excursion. Chile Sunrise Tours is not responsible for accidents caused by the failure to comply with safety regulations.
Health Conditions:
The tours in San Pedro de Atacama involve visiting areas at high altitudes. Passengers are advised to arrive acclimatized, stay hydrated, and be in adequate physical condition to participate in the activities.
In case of emergencies, all our guides are trained in first aid.
It is the passenger's responsibility to provide information regarding pre-existing medical conditions. Chile Sunrise Tours is not responsible for any medical eventualities during the tour that were not previously communicated.
Food Policies:
The tours include catering services with quality products. It is the responsibility of passengers to inform us in advance about any dietary restrictions or allergies.
The agency is not responsible for allergic reactions or issues arising from the consumption of food if these restrictions were not communicated beforehand.
Passenger Behavior:
Passengers are expected to respect the instructions of the guides and drivers, as well as the natural and cultural environment of each place visited. The tour operator reserves the right to deny service or terminate a tour if a passenger exhibits behavior that jeopardizes the safety or enjoyment of other participants.
